Tuition Fee In 2023, the annual tuition fee is AU$41,280 and total course is AU$126,720 for International Student (* Please note that this is an indicative fee only.)

General entry requirements for international students:

  • Study background: Applicants need to completed and passed an Australian Year 12 or an equivalent senior secondary school qualification with a minimum average of 65%.

    Alternatively, you need to complete the RMIT Foundation Studies program or holding a recognised post-secondary diploma in the relevant discipline with the specified grades.

  • English:

    • IELTS (Academic): Overall band score of at least 6.5, with no individual band score lower than 6.0.

    • TOEFL (Internet Based Test - IBT): A minimum overall score of 79. Within that, a minimum score of 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking, and 21 in Writing.

    • Pearson Test of English (Academic) (PTE (A)): A minimum score of 58, with no communication band score below 50.

    • Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE): A minimum score of 176, with no component scoring less than 169.

  • Credit transfer:

    If your current educational institution is in partnership with RMIT, there's an opportunity for you to receive credit towards your chosen RMIT course. This advantage can potentially shorten the duration of your study at RMIT.

    However, if your institution does not have a formal partnership with RMIT. The university offers a tailored assessment of your qualifications on an individual basis, ensuring that you may still have the possibility to receive credit for your RMIT program.
