This visa is for international students who have recently graduated with skills and qualifications that are relevant to specific occupations Australia needs. It lets you live, study and work in Australia temporarily.

  • This is a temporary visa. The length of your stay in Australia will depend on your Australian study qualification level and if you have a select degree.

    • bachelor degree (including honours) - 2 years

    • bachelor degree (including honours) in select degree - 4 years

    • masters by research and masters by coursework - 3 years

    • masters by research and masters by coursework in select degree - 5 years

    • masters (extended) - 3 years

    • masters (extended) in select degree - 5 years

    • doctoral degree - 6 years

    • Hong Kong and BNO passport holders who successfully complete a bachelor, masters or doctoral degree - 5 years

    • live, study and work in Australia temporarily after you have finished your studies

    • bring your immediate family members stay with you

    • From AUD 1,895.00

    • There is also a charge for each family member who applies for the visa with you.

    • You might also have to pay other costs for health checks or police certificates and biometrics.

    Processing time

    • 25% of applications: 52 Days

    • 50% of applications: 56 Days

    • 75% of applications: 3 Months

    • 90% of applications: 8 Months

Tourist Visa (Subclass 600)

This visa stream lets you visit Australia as a tourist, to see family and friends or for purposes other than business or medical treatment

  • Up to 12 months

    • visit family or friends

    • be here as a tourist, for a cruise, or for any purpose except business or medical treatment

    • You can study or train for up to 3 months on this visa. But if your main reason for travelling to Australia is study, a student visa might be more appropriate.

    You can't work.

  • Apply in Australia

    • The visa costs from AUD 475 for the main applicant.

    • There is also a charge for each family member who applies for the visa with you.

    • You might also have to pay other costs for health checks, police certificates and biometrics.

    Processing times in Australia

    • 25% of applications: 5 Days

    • 50% of applications: 10 Days

    • 75% of applications: 20 Days

    • 90% of applications: 29 Days

    • Due to COVID-19, some visa processing times have been affected and applications may take longer to finalise.

    Apply outside Australia

    • This visa costs from AUD 190.00 for each applicant.

    • You might also have to pay other costs for:
