MIGRATION SERVICES
ProActive Legal is an Australian law firm best known for its work in immigration law. Our highly specialised Migration Lawyers and Migration Advisors (RMA) together have over 37 years of experience. The Principal Lawyer, David Gu, is one of Australia’s leading experts in immigration law. He is one of only 46 lawyers accredited by the Law Society of New South Wales as a Specialist in Immigration Law.
Whether is to reach a migration goal or resolving a complicated and challenging immigration problem, it is a ‘journey’. The success of that journey hinges one that are forward thinking, proactive, creative and confident in their expertise. These are qualities of our team, enabling us to unpuzzle the complex and intertwining Australian immigration laws to find practical, innovative, bespoke and strategic solutions.
What is an Accredited Specialist in Immigration Law?
To be given the title “accredited specialist”, is the highest accreditation attainable as a solicitor in Australia. The Law Societies of Australia have a rigorous assessment program for all their specialisations. Immigration is one of them. To become an accredited specialist, a solicitor must meet certain requirements and go through various examination stages, testing their skills and knowledge in the specific area of the law that they are competent in. When a solicitor or lawyer receives this accreditation it is usually newsworthy due to how hard it is to be obtained.
